Artist

Statement

I am a self-taught contemporary oil painter who rediscovered my creative voice after years of losing myself in corporate work and the chaos of today’s fast-paced world. My art is an exploration of balance and a journey to inner peace, reflecting the experiences, objects, and moments I find fascinating, meaningful, or simply beautiful.

I use bold strokes and vibrant colors as a declaration of courage it takes to step away from a "normal life" that doesn’t truly feel like your own. Every painting represents a small rebellion — a return to passion, authenticity, and the joy of self-expression. My work is a celebration of reclaiming creativity and embracing the journey back to what feels real and true.

Art History

My fascination with art extends beyond creation — I’m deeply interested in how it shaped and evolved throughout history. After completing an Art History course at Sorbonne University, I gained a deeper understanding of how art has developed through the dynamic interplay of collaboration, competition, admiration, and sometimes envy between different cultures. From the Renaissance, where artists pushed the boundaries of realism through their collaboration and competition, to the way modern art movements like Cubism and Surrealism were influenced by cultural exchange and historical events, art has always been a reflection of the world around it.

This knowledge allows me to approach my own work with a broader perspective, infusing my designs with the understanding that creativity is not only a personal expression but also a dialogue between artists across time and space. The rich history of art continually informs my creative process, pushing me to innovate while drawing inspiration from the collective artistic journey that has shaped the present.
